ABTA has appointed Victoria Bacon as Head of Brand and Business Development with effect from 13 April. Following a review of ABTA’s current and future needs, the Head of Brand and Business Development will focus on the development of the ABTA Travel with confidence brand, and on ABTA’s commercial activities as well as directing the communications function.
Victoria, who was previously ABTA’s Head of Communications between January 2011 and September 2014, will have overall responsibility for the strategic management of the ABTA brand, ensuring consistency and optimising its commercial potential, along with leading on relationship management with Members. This senior management position will have overall responsibility for strategic communications, including media relations.
