National Express: c2c record breakers strike gold again

National Express train operator c2c has struck gold again by setting a new UK record for train punctuality, according to the latest statistics published.

Over the past year 97.1% of trains operated by c2c were on time according to the latest Public Performance Measure figures, the official rail industry measure for train punctuality released by Network Rail show. In the four week period ending 21 July alone, 97.2% of trains were on time.

c2c Managing Director Julian Drury said: “c2c is now taking thousands of passengers to the Games every day on a record-breaking train service. We’re continuing to set the pace for train companies in the UK, and I’m proud c2c is consistently finishing top of the podium.”

c2c trains call at the Games venue stations of West Ham and Leigh-on-Sea, home of the mountain bike event on 11-12 August.
