Naïade Resorts appoints Jeff Butterworth as chief spa and wellness officer

Naïade Resorts is delighted to announce the appointment of Jeff Butterworth as chief spa and wellness officer. Bringing a wealth of expertise and international experience to the Naïade team, Jeff will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of the overall spa and wellness operations of the group’s properties.

Holder of a Bachelor of Applied Science in Naturopathy as well as numerous qualifications in the field of homeopathy, clinical nutrition, acupuncture,
aroma therapy, biomesotherapy and iridology, Jeff started his career 28 years ago as owner and medical director of a private practice in Australia. He held the position of senior lecturer at the Academy of Natural Therapies in Australia, and was also a professional nutriceutical consultant for national and international companies.

In 2002, Jeff moved to India and worked for three years as the wellness spa director of The Vedic Village, a five star wellness retreat near Calcutta. He then moved back to Australia as an integrated holistic medical practitioner in a private medical practice. Jeff has published several articles on wellbeing, spa, nature and health and he is well known in Australia following a number of radio and TV talks on natural health and lifestyle.

Before joining Naïade Resort, Jeff was the spa and wellness director of TALISE Spa and was responsible of the development and implementation of the Jumeirah Group’s spa brand. His recent appointment is, for Naïade Resorts, one more step in its medium and long term strategy towards an innovative hospitality concept lead by complete dedication to its guests.
