The MTR Corporation is pleased to announce that Mr Joseph Lai Yee-tak who took over the post of Permanent Secretary for Transport and Housing (Transport) from Mr Ho Suen-wai with effect from 28 May 2012, has by virtue of his appointment, become an Alternate Director to the office of the Secretary for Transport and Housing (Ms. Eva Cheng) with effect from the same date.

As Mr Lai has ceased to hold the post of the Commissioner for Transport with effect from 28 May 2012, he has also ceased to be a Director of the Company and a member of the Audit Committee of the Company with
effect from the same date. The Corporation also announces that Mr Ho Suen-wai who ceased to hold the post of Permanent Secretary for Transport and Housing (Transport) with effect from 28 May 2012, has ceased to be an Alternate Director to the office of the Secretary for Transport and Housing with effect from the same date.
