Moxy Hotels debuts in UK with Aberdeen property

Moxy Hotels has debuted in the UK with the launch of Moxy Aberdeen Airport.

Offering a spirited and stylish hotel experience at a surprisingly affordable price, the forward thinking brand offers a fresh take on traditional hospitality with playful communal spaces and inventive programming.

Moxy Aberdeen is the first in a strong pipeline of planned openings in the UK including London Excel, London Stratford and London Heathrow.

“Moxy’s newest outpost in the urban city of Aberdeen will embody the brand’s contemporary and playful design in a tech enabled environment – a dynamic setting for the first Moxy Hotel in the United Kingdom,” said Vicki Poulos, global brand director, Moxy Hotels.

“As an established hub for business with a growing tourism industry, we look forward to introducing this experiential and affordable brand to fun hunter travellers.”

Moxy Aberdeen will be a 24/7 spot for all things fun and impromptu. Moxy’s lively communal spaces, including its Living Rooms, game rooms and bar, come alive with a thoughtfully-crafted assemblage of spontaneous and organic happenings designed to cater to travellers and locals who like to hang-out with their friends and meet new ones, without breaking the bank.

Moxy’s fun, inclusive and youthful spirit is reflected in the combination of bold design and affordable style where communal engagement is at the centre of the experience.

The interiors fuse refined and raw materials, organic and linear lines, and shared spaces.

Moxy Aberdeen’s living room is the centre of activity, giving guests fun ways to work and play hard. Sealed concrete floors, walls lined with intriguing art and fun references to local culture including artistic beer jugs displayed on the walls are complemented by ambient lighting and comfortable accents of colour.

Moxy Aberdeen has flexible meeting rooms flooded with natural daylight.

The meeting table itself doubles as a shuffleboard providing participants the opportunity to refresh, reenergise or get competitive, with a quick game.
