The Copenhagen based travel search engine Momondo.com has launched an Android app. making it possible to search for cheap flights on your Android smart phone.

The app. is an addition to Momondo’s iPhone travel app. launched in May this year which is already a top 25 free travel app. The Android app. now provides even more smartphone users access to Momondo’s highly praised online meta-search travel technology and functions. Momondo users can
search and compare prices and availability of flights, hotels and car hire from more than 800 travel sites on the main Momondo.com site.

With the Momondo Android app. users can find the best offers on flights on their Android smart phone, and then go directly to the supplier’s site and book their deal using their mobile phone. The app. also makes it possible to save the search results on your mobile and/or mail these to yourself or travel companion(s).
