Prior to joining Coco Collection, Mclaren held the prestigious role of household manager to a senior level government minister of Saudi Arabia.
His duties have taken him across the globe, from the savannas of Kenya to vibrant cosmopolitan cities of the United States.
In addition to having managed private households and residences, he is well versed with the dynamics of luxury hospitality, having taken on a variety of roles in luxury resorts throughout his career.
His unique background presents him with the experience required to create a highly personal and first class service to Coco Privé’s discerning guests.
Mclaren commented: “Coco Privé Kuda Hithi Island is undoubtedly one of the world’s most sophisticated private islands, and I am thrilled to have taken on the role of Island Manager at this beautiful property.
“Though the avant-garde design of the island is magnificent, it is the meticulous attention to the guest experience that truly makes Coco Privé an exceptional property.
“I look forward to working with the fantastic butler team at Coco Privé to continue creating an enriching experience for our guests.”
