Maybourne Hotel Group renews with Pegasus Solutions

Maybourne Hotel Group has extended its Global Commission Processing Services agreement with Pegasus Solutions for another two years for all three of its five-star London properties, including Claridge’s, the Connaught and the Berkeley.

As a Pegasus customer for the past three years, Maybourne has recognized the value of a partner that provides a safe, secure and cost-effective means of paying the travel agency community the commissions due.

“Our agency relationships are a cornerstone of our success in the competitive high-end London marketplace,” said Stephen Alden, chief executive officer of Maybourne Hotel Group. “By looking after the agencies with Pegasus, we have developed a reputation as a commission-friendly hotel group that cares about its customers – agencies and guests alike.”

Also an existing customer of Pegasus’ next generation central reservation system (CRS) RezView® NG, Maybourne is renowned for its prized locations with distinct character. The Group’s three properties include the historic Claridge’s in Mayfair, the restored Connaught in Mayfair Village, and The Berkeley in Knightsbridge.

“While we’re always enthused to welcome a new customer to one of our product or service lines, it may actually be more rewarding to welcome the returning customer who has realized tangible results working with Pegasus,” said Mike Kistner, chief executive officer of Pegasus Solutions. “For Maybourne, those results were faster processing resulting in increased customer satisfaction, and the reliability of a trustworthy partner offering local support.”
Pegasus Global Commission Processing for Maybourne Hotel Group offers agents weekly commission payments via check or direct deposit in any of 37 currencies. As the preferred commission payment provider for more than 60,000 travel agencies worldwide, Pegasus processes more than $500 million in commissions annually, serving more than 35,000 properties, as well as the majority of travel distributors in more than 200 countries.
