MasterCard Worldwide in affirming its commitment in supporting sustainable development of Asia Pacific travel and tourism, has signed an agreement to support PATA Foundation to earmark its 25th Anniversary.

Nagesh Devata, VP-Commerce Development, Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa, MasterCard, said “We see great value in work that the PATA Foundation has been doing for the past 25 years. MasterCard is pleased to contribute to the Foundation’s efforts in building sustainable tourism growth through culture & heritage preservation, and education. We encourage everyone to come forward and support the PATA Foundation.”

A key component of MasterCard’s collaboration with the PATA Foundation is the Purchase with Purpose TM program in which MasterCard makes a donation of 5% to the PATA Foundation for every donation made using a MasterCard card.

If you are attending the PATA Annual Meeting in Kuching, for all successful bid items at Silent Auction and Charity Dinner Ticket paid for with a MasterCard card, MasterCard will contribute an additional 5%.
