Marriott’s National Group Sales Team in Omaha, NE, was the recipient of the Cartus Supplier Innovation Silver Award for reducing the carbon footprint through paperless invoicing.

The team focused on reducing their use of paper products by implementing a paperless process with Cartus. They collaborated with over 1,000 Marriott hotels in the Cartus program to submit invoices electronically. As a result of this initiative the invoices are received faster, more efficiently and no fossil fuel is used to transfer the invoices from the hotel to Marriott’s Cartus billing team.

The decrease in our carbon footprint from such a small process change is a testament to the huge partnership our organizations share.
