Marriott Rewards and Ctrip.com have announced the launch of a global partnership, offering Chinese travellers a great variety of hotels and rewarding opportunities when they stay at 3,600 participating hotels around the world.
With the launch of this industry first partnership, Marriott Rewards members can now earn Ctrip points when they stay Marriott International’s hotels globally.
This partnership is the first of its kind between a global hotel loyalty programme and Ctrip.
In celebration of this occasion, Marriott Rewards and Ctrip will be offering members a ‘Double Ctrip Points’ welcome offer.
Ctrip members who join Marriott Rewards and elect to earn Ctrip points as their earning preference will earn double Ctrip points for their stays at any of the participating hotels globally before November 15th, 2012, up to a maximum of 50,000 points.
Enrollment in the Marriott Rewards programme and registration for the promotion are required.
“This industry-first partnership brings together the leading hotel loyalty programme and the leading travel agency in China to provide the best possible customer service and guest experience to Marriott Rewards members and Ctrip users in China,” explained Simon Cooper, president and managing director of Marriott International Asia Pacific.
“It reflects our commitment to meeting the needs of Chinese guests and partnering with exceptional Chinese companies such as Ctrip.”
