“The Courtyard Panama City MetroMall is be a wonderful addition to Marriott International’s continually expanding portfolio of 64 hotels in Latin America and the Caribbean,” said Laurent de Kousemaeker, chief development officer, Caribbean & Latin American Region, Marriott International. “Panama is an important, gateway market in the region we’re thrilled our partners have chosen to develop yet another Courtyard hotel, to cater to the business traveler looking for high-quality mid-market accommodation.”

The Courtyard by Marriott Panama City MetroMall is adjacent to the newly opened, 130,000-square-meter MetroMall shopping mall in Panama’s capital city, halfway between Panama City’s financial district and the international airport.

“We are very excited to open our second Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Panama City,” said Fernando Poma, managing director of Real Hotels and Resorts. “We are very pleased with the results of our first Courtyard hotel in Panama, the Courtyard Panama City Real at Multiplaza Pacific Mall, and felt that it was a great idea to replicate this concept adjacent to the new MetroMall complex.”
