Maritim Hotels signs frequent flyer deal with Turkish Airlines

Maritim Hotels has sealed a new partnership with Turkish Airlines enabling members of the airline’s frequent flyer programme to earn miles at its properties.

Taking off in September, the two year partnership enables all 4.5 million members of Turkish Airline’s Miles & Smiles frequent flyer programme to earn miles by staying at any Maritim Hotel worldwide.

With a total of 37 hotels located in well known German cities including Berlin, Munich, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Nuremberg and Frankfurt and 13 additional properties in popular business and leisure destinations such as Turkey, Malta, Mauritius and China, there will be every opportunity for frequent flyers with Turkish Airlines to clock up some valuable additional miles with Maritim.

Mark Spivey, director of international sales for Maritim, commented:  “Whether travelling on business or leisure, Turkish Airlines passengers will receive a warm welcome at our first class deluxe hotels.

“We look forward to providing them with a memorable stay and more miles to reach their desired loyalty rewards.”

Founded in 1933, Turkish Airlines is a member of the Star Alliance and has a fleet of 247 (passenger and cargo) aircraft and flies to 248 destinations worldwide (205 international and 43 domestic).

Maritim Hotels is Germany’s largest privately owned hotel operator.

In addition to 37 hotels in Germany, the company has 13 hotels around the world in locations as diverse as Turkey, Mauritius, China, Egypt, Spain, Latvia and Malta.

The group’s ongoing expansion continues to strengthen its position in the first class hotel industry in Europe and beyond.
