The Oberoi, Gurgaon, New Delhi, India was the impressive venue for the red-carpet event, which was hosted under the patronage of Incredible India.

Mantis’ awards were accepted by Kunal Premnarayen and Akhil Behl from Mantis India, the company’s new joint-venture partners.

Titles included World’s Leading Boutique Cruise for the Zambezi Queen and World’s Leading Extreme Adventure for Bear Grylls Survival Academy.

Adrian Gardiner, chairman of Mantis, commented: “This recognition will take us running into 2013.

“All these tributes are a great honour and a testament to Mantis’ credibility.

Mantis also took the title of World’s Leading Ice Hotel for the Ice Hotel, Sweden, and World’s Leading Polar Expedition Operator for White Desert, Antarctica.

Mantis Collection was itself recognised at the World’s Leading Luxury Boutique Hotels Collection.

Three of the five awards pave the way for this new venture that aims to fulfill adventurers’ bucket-lists dreams and give them the right to say ‘I did it!’

“In terms of the boutique cruise market many small ships are being launched around the world,” added Gardiner.

“They are filling a particular niche within the cruise sector of the market and we’re honoured to have the World’s Leading Boutique Cruise in our portfolio.
