Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Selects InfoGenesis(TM) POS Solution from Agilysys

Agilysys, Inc, a leading provider of innovative information technology and hospitality software solutions, has announced that Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has selected the InfoGenesis(TM) POS system by Agilysys to streamline operations and enhance guest service at its two new hotels in Barcelona and Las Vegas.

Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona is also using the ResPAK* restaurant management solution, which is fully integrated with the InfoGenesis POS system, to optimize table usage and personalize dining services in its restaurants.

The InfoGenesis POS system is an award-winning point-of-sale software solution that combines powerful reporting and configuration capabilities in the back office with an easy-to-use touch-screen terminal application. Designed for multi-unit operations common in hospitality environments, the system can manage any combination of dining, bar, room service and gift shop operations. Features of the InfoGenesis POS solution include real-time reporting capabilities, audit log and electronic journal, multi-language capability, packages and prix fixe menus, signature capture and advanced sorting, filtering and grouping options.

The ResPAK solution is a comprehensive restaurant management software system designed to increase efficiency, minimize staff costs and maximize revenue. Its real-time self-service portal optimizes online reservations without the need for staff, and SMS messaging and paging ensures timely guest communication. Built-in e-mail functionality and storage of guest details and preferences allows for targeted marketing campaigns. Reporting and analysis tools reveal trends in bookings and spend, enabling restaurants to plan for staffing during peak and quiet periods.
