Malaysia Airlines offers six more UK and Ireland destinations online

Malaysia Airlines has made it even easier for passengers to book flights online to or from six key destinations in the UK and Ireland.

Passengers arriving or departing Aberdeen, Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Manchester can now book their flights online at www.malaysiaairlines.com.

Malaysia Airlines already serves these routes through a code-share with British Midlands (bmi) but previously, these tickets could only be purchased from ticketing offices or travel agents.

Malaysia Airlines Senior General Manager, Network & Revenue Management, Dr Amin Khan said, “Travelling with Malaysia Airlines to UK and Ireland is even easier now that customers can book the code share tickets online.

“Purchase and flying are now seamless and hassle free. We fly to London twice daily while bmi offers many daily flights to these six destinations. We will soon make available online all the European destinations that we are code sharing currently with KLM.”

He added, “This is also in line with our hub-and-spoke strategy to improve feeder traffic into our trunk routes. We expect to generate more than RM10 million annually through the partnership with bmi”.

Malaysia Airlines offers two daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to London, departing at 10.45am and 11.55pm respectively.

Bmi connects to Glasgow 27 times weekly, Aberdeen 24 times, Dublin 21 times, Belfast 20 times, Edinburgh 19 times, and Manchester 17 times weekly.
