Malaysia Airlines adds frequency to Yangon and Auckland

Malaysia Airlines continues its expansion model with the announcement of increased airlift to capital cities, Auckland and Yangon. Only last week, the Malaysian national carrier announced the addition of Dubai, Darwin and Kochi to its network.

From 1 August 2013, Malaysia Airlines will increase frequency from Kuala Lumpur into Yangon, Myanmar, from ten times weekly to fourteen times weekly. Meanwhile, services from Kuala Lumpur to Auckland will be increased from six times weekly to a daily service effective 24 November 2013.

To celebrate the new frequency, Malaysia Airlines is offering UK travellers great value fares until 31 July 2013. Return fares to Yangon start at just £649 and Auckland at just £869.

Malaysia Airlines continues to operate the only direct service between London and Kuala Lumpur with a double daily A380 service operating from London Heathrow. These improved connections to Yangon and Auckland from Kuala Lumpur will enable UK travellers to take advantage of the current tourism boom in both cities.
