Magical Kenya Travel Expo underway in Nairobi
The third edition of the annual Magical Kenya Travel Expo, a high profile international tourism exhibition hosted by the Kenya Tourism Board, has launched in Nairobi.
The expo is one of the fastest growing exhibitions in the tourism industry aimed at raising the profile of the destination, and this year celebrates the 50th anniversary of Kenyan independence.
It has become an important and influential platform for tourism networking and business transactions.
Over 150 travel agents, tour operators and trade media from Kenya’s tourist source markets are expected to participate in this year’s Magical Kenya Travel Expo.
The expo also provides a networking platform between the Kenyan trade and those oversee and hence strengthening their marketing efforts and strategies.
The exhibition is aimed at showcasing Kenya as a world class tourism destination to top notch international trade.
Kenyatta International Conference Centre
The event will take place at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre, a one of a kind for the country which was purposely built for Conference tourism.
The 30-storey land mark of Kenya’s skyline was built in 1969 and the only building in the region with a helipad, boasts of a rich MICE heritage and has hosted high profile conferences which have shaped the destiny of mankind in all sectors of the economy.
The facility has eight meeting halls and exhibition areas.
