Madinat Jumeirah celebrates tenth anniversary

Madinat Jumeirah, the Arabian Resort of Dubai is set to mark its tenth anniversary with six months of incredible events, offers and initiatives starting in June.

The celebration will culminate with a global celebration on October 10th 2014 that will include all 22 properties across Jumeirah’s global portfolio.

To mark the tenth anniversary Madinat Jumeirah has three exclusive room and suite stay packages.

Choose from Deluxe Decadence, Stylish Suites or Villa Retreats to enjoy complimentary dining across a choice of 50 restaurants, afternoon tea in your private villa, luxurious spa treatments and club lounge access. Starting from AED1010 plus local and hotel fees per night, applicable on rooms and suites across two grand boutique hotels, summerhouses or the private Malakiya Villas, these offers are valid until September 30th 2014.

July’s Ramadan and Eid celebrations include Iftar and Suhour offerings in one of three incredible venues including an Arabian inspired Majlis, based in the Madinat Jumeirah Conference Centre.

Madinat Jumeirah will also collaborate with Mawaheb from Beautiful People, an art studio that offers young adults with special needs an opportunity to express their creativity.

On September 9th, Madinat Jumeirah will host a special full moon yoga session on the beach, a renowned venue in the city that has grown from strength to strength.

The event has attracted an average of 150 yoga enthusiasts each month for the past eight years.

From October 1st, guests can enjoy a brand new Mina A’Salam experience once the refurbishment of the 292 rooms and suites has been completed.

The new modern look offers a traditional twist, with a lighter, brighter and more spacious feel.

Speaking of Madinat Jumeirah’s ten-year achievement, Margaret Paul, resort general manager, said: “We are proud that Madinat Jumeirah has mirrored the success story of Dubai to create a multi-award winning resort attracting guests from all over the world. Our tenth anniversary celebrates the history and culture of Arabia while demonstrating exciting new beginnings.”

This year will also see an enhancement of Madinat Jumeirah’s renowned dining and nightlife scene.

This started with the launch of its authentic Mexican restaurant Tortuga earlier this year and will be followed by a refurbished Pierchic set to offer an exciting and new award-winning seafood dining experience, as well as an exciting new smokehouse restaurant that is planned for Souk Madinat Jumeirah.

Over 40 food and beverage outlets are dotted throughout the resort and offer world-class dining options, each within a unique setting.

Madinat Jumeirah has been recognised as the Middle East’s Leading Conference Hotel by the World Travel Awards.
