Lucky Air officially joins IATA

Lucky Air has hosted an IATA membership ceremony at its base in Kunming, China, after successfully joining the organisation.

IATA China Region chief representative, Zhang Baojian, and IATA north Asia regional head of members and external relations, Zhang Jingwei, participated in the ceremony.

The representatives granted the IATA Membership Certificate to Zhang Guoping, marketing director of Lucky Air, as well as Li Lin, general manager of the flight department at the airline, and Fu Jiawen, general manager of Lucky Air finance department.

During the ceremony, Baojian on behalf of IATA warmly congratulated Lucky Air on its joining of IATA and suggested Lucky Air could now have more understanding about international cooperation rules and more communication with other airlines.

Membership would lay a solid foundation for Lucky Air’s future international development, he added.

Guoping also explained the significance of IATA membership to Lucky Air in its international development.

Lucky Air will now be an active member of the organisation, taking full advantage of IATA to strengthen the coordination and cooperation with other airlines in international market to accelerate the international route network distribution and internationalisation process.

The IATA membership enables Lucky Air to participate into the competition of international market based on its good platform of international exchange and cooperation, which helps Lucky Air a lot to accelerate its international market exploration.
