London Syon Park, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel is a smart, stylish, new-build property with 137 guest rooms - offering the world renowned singular luxury experience of the Waldorf Astoria brand.  Set in 200 acres of beautiful parkland, owned for the past 400 years by the Duchy of Northumberland, just seven miles from both Knightsbridge and Heathrow Terminal 5, London Syon Park provides a tranquil country retreat on the outskirts of London town.

John Vanderslice, global head of luxury and lifestyle brands, Hilton Worldwide, said, “London Syon Park, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel joins a portfolio of the world’s fastest growing luxury properties and will offer guests unparalleled service, in a beautiful parkland setting, with some of the world’s finest food, drink and accommodation - affording guests a completely unique luxury experience.”

FOOD AND DRINK

Dining at London Syon Park, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel will reference the ‘delicious heritage’ of Syon Park with an ingenious concept designed by emerging culinary talent, Executive Chef Lee Streeton (formerly of Brown’s Hotel and Caprice Holdings). Streeton’s ‘landscape cooking’ vision will influence all five restaurants and bars at the hotel.

The flagship restaurant, Capability, is named after Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, who created the famous landscapes of Syon Park. Showcasing the best of British seasonal produce, Capability is set to be the destination restaurant of West London, combining the heritage of the Syon Park Estate and the English country garden with the sophistication and sleekness of service in town.

Peacock Alley provides a smart, yet relaxed drinks experience with an emphasis on English seasonal ingredients, drawing inspiration from classic cocktails of the 1890s, served at the iconic Waldorf=Astoria in New York City.

Meanwhile, quirky lobby Sundae Bar, Brownie’s epitomizes London Syon Park, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel’s playful individuality with inventive sweet creations from the pastry kitchen, served on mismatched china.

KALLIMA SPA AND KARIDIS NON-SURGICAL

The state-of-the-art Kallima Spa at London Syon Park takes its name from a rare and beautiful butterfly which resembles a closed leaf at first and is transformed when opening its wings. With 11 treatment rooms, dual VIP treatment suite and Vichy shower, along with gymnasium and swimming pool, guests are ensured a luxurious retreat.

The renowned cosmetic surgeon Mr. Alex Karidis will be opening his first non-surgical treatment rooms within Kallima, offering a range of non-surgical, tailor-made treatments that complement the concept.

HISTORIC PARKLAND

Guests will have use of the extensive parkland, with year-round access to the Syon House gardens through a ‘secret garden gate’ and activities including trout fishing, cycling, foraging trails, punting and shooting. The hotel even has a purpose-built helipad for those wishing to fly to and from other destinations.

Andreas Panayiotou, said, “Every aspect of the concept and the interior design is carefully thought out - from gold leaf mosaic tiles in the Kallima Spa to the digital installations in Capability. Everyone who visits will be over-awed by impeccable detail.“

Simon Vincent, area president, Europe, Hilton Worldwide, said, “London Syon Park, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel will be a superb luxury addition to our London portfolio of more than 20 hotels. Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts is a fast growing brand in Europe, with the recent announcement of our soon-to-open property in Sevilla and the Waldorf Astoria Berlin, which will begin welcoming guests at the end of the year.”

London Syon Park, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel will join more than 20 landmark destinations around the globe, each with its own story and identity and each inspired by the level of service that defined the legendary Waldorf=Astoria in New York City.
