The new service, set to start Friday December 18th, will be the only nonstop service to the Bahamas from Tampa Bay, and will also be providing new flights to Governor’s Harbour, on Eleuthera, in the Bahamas starting February 22, 2010 from Ft. Lauderdale and St. Petersburg-Tampa Bay. Locair is offering a special low-fare to launch both of these flights.

Flights to Marsh Harbour will operate on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday thru April; Flights to Treasure Cay operate on Thursday, Saturday, and Sundays. Starting in April 2010, Locair is pleased to announce we will be basing an airplane and crew in St. Petersburg, offering travelers a morning departure.” Flights to Abaco are available as low as $125 each way, plus taxes, based on roundtrip purchase when purchased by December 12th, 7pm.

Nonstop service to Governor’s Harbour, located on the island of Eleuthera, puts even more hotels & beaches within reach of West Coast Florida travelers. Flights will depart St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport and Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday & return same day. Flights are being offered as low as $99 each way from Ft. Lauderdale and $125 each way from Tampa Bay, plus taxes, based on roundtrip purchase. Tickets must be purchased by Saturday, December 12th 7pm.

Fare is one way based on roundtrip. Fare is nonrefundable, any voluntary changes (including name change) is $25 USD plus applicable taxes when completed 24 hours or more before departure and $80 for all changes within 24 hours of travel. Fare does not include all international taxes & fees, including 9/11 Security fees, U.S. International & Departure taxes, customs & immigration fees, and airport user fees totaling up to $60 on some itineraries. Locair requires all passengers pay a $15 Bahamian Departure tax at their Bahamian departure point. Seats may be limited and not available on all flights.
