Live screening of Royal Wedding in Hyde Park

27th Apr 2011

With large crowds expected in central London for the royal wedding, many will head to the iconic locations of Hyde Park and Trafalgar Square to watch the historic occasion live on giant screens.

The free events are being jointly organised by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, the Mayor of London and The Royal Parks and the public will be able to watch all the proceedings live - from the arrivals and ceremony at Westminster Abbey, to the procession from the Abbey to Buckingham Palace, and the traditional wave from the balcony at the Palace.

There will also be a variety of fun activities and entertainment to help Londoners and the capital’s visitors feel part of the Royal couple’s special day, including live music, with a wedding band at both locations.
