LATAM Airlines Group in mobile focus

Mobile Travel Technologies has signed a contract with LAN and TAM Airlines, both members of LATAM Airlines Group, to develop their mobile apps for iPhone and Android as well as mobile web offering. 

LATAM Airlines Group was formed in June 2012 following the merger of LAN Airlines and TAM Airlines, the leading carriers in Chile and Brazil respectively. The LATAM Airlines Group provides passenger services to over 135 destinations
in 22 countries.

Leveraging its sophisticated mobile travel platform and extensive experience in the airline industry, MTT will deliver apps and mobile web under the LAN and TAM brands for their respective markets.

The app development for LAN and TAM will be prioritized and phased over the coming months based on what will meet the most immediate needs of its customers for the mobile channel, to ensure the best user experience and increased
mobile engagement over time.  MTT, LAN and TAM are committed to delivering the highest quality apps with key functionality rolled out in a logical manner and with a focus on great usability.
