Korean Air unveils second SkyTeam livery aircraft

Korean Air has unveiled its second SkyTeam livery B737-800 aircraft, which will operate short-haul routes including China, Japan and South East Asia.

SkyTeam’s “Caring More About You” philosophy remains consistent throughout the member airlines, and the unified SkyTeam livery serves as further proof of this consistency. The delicate design includes features such as the dark blue SkyTeam logo on the tail fin and the SkyTeam name in large, dark blue letters along the front side of the fuselage. The aircraft has a congiguration of 149 seats.

The first B777-200 aircraft with a configuration of 260 seats, began its operation in 2009. By operating two SkyTeam livered aircraft, Korean Air expects to expose the alliance’s exclusive colours and identity to more customers around the world.

Korean Air -which was named Asias Leading Airline First Class by the World Travel Awards last year - is a founding member of the SkyTeam alliance, which together with its 14 members, offers its 474 million annual passengers a worldwide system of morethan 14,000 daily flights covering 916 destinations in 169 countries.

SkyTeam is a global airline alliance providing customers from member airlines access to an extensive global network with more destinations, more frequencies and more connectivity. Korean Air will continue its effort to support this global alliance as a leading global carrier.
