Villa Rosa Kempinski Nairobi opens Kempinski The Spa - a bespoke Spa concept developed especially for Kempinski Hotels by Resense Spa S.A.
Kempinski The Spa’s unique spa treatments are inspired by the European cycle of the seasons and help restore the body’s natural equilibrium by drawing on the elemental wisdom of nature. Therapists begin each treatment with a consultation to identify needs and objectives in order to create a personalised treatment, including relaxation, detox, balancing or energising. For example, winter conjures thoughts of hibernation and recuperation, while spring brings to mind renewal and growth.
Located in the heart of Nairobi, the facilities and services at Kempinski The Spa will be open not only for hotel guests but also for all residents of Nairobi.
The 1,100 square-metre Kempinski The Spa features nine treatment rooms including two couples rooms, a relaxation area and lounge. Other facilities include an outdoor heated pool, a stylish steam room, Jacuzzi and traditional sauna.
The impressive fitness area offers the latest Technogym cardiovascular and strength equipment, a Yoga studio and fitness classes (including Zumba) to help guests, locals and members keep in shape. With a focus on wellness, membership packages have been designed, along with yoga by the pool and signature personalised training.
Kempinski The Spa has selected the PHYTOMER product range for this Spa, a pioneer in skincare for 40 years combining marine biotechnology with a unique catalogue of natural and high-performance ingredients. Kempinski The Spa at Villa Rosa Kempinski Nairobi is the first Spa in East Africa to offer PHYTOMER treatments.
The hotel’s Spa Manager, Ms Pauline Mbondo, said “Villa Rosa Kempinski Nairobi proudly introduces the first Kempinski The Spa in sub-Saharan Africa. Our exclusive spa concept based on the four European seasons, state-of-the-art fitness equipment and our highly trained therapists make our Spa the benchmark of unique Spa experiences in Kenya and the region.”
