Get to know Australia’s latest superliner, Pacific Jewel, by following a new blog launched by P&O Cruises, at pacificjewel.pocruises.com.au.
Pacific Jewel’s first hotel director, Ken Flavell, will provide a sneak peek of the ship’s special features as she makes her way to Australia to join the P&O Cruises’ fleet in December.
“The arrival of P&O Cruises’ latest superliner, Pacific Jewel, will be a great event but the excitement begins long before she reaches our shores and the blog is a fantastic way to keep up to date with all the developments,” Mr Flavell said.
The blog will also include details on Pacific Jewel’s relocation journey to Australia, updates from her multi-million dollar refurbishment in November, plans for her spectacular launch and a countdown to the ship’s arrival in Sydney.
Pacific Jewel will feature an amazing open-air deck with aerial stage for circus and music performances, one of the largest spas at sea with a massive 1300 square metres of space and a range of dining options from contemporary a la carte dining in the Waterfront Restaurant to more casual dining at La Luna.
Pacific Jewel will depart Sydney on her maiden cruise to Tasmania on December 13, 2009.
Fares on Pacific Jewel start from $1239 for 7-night cruise to the South Pacific.
