Jet2.com expands summer 2017 leisure operations at Stansted

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays is adding four new routes, extra capacity and more aircraft to its operations at Stansted Airport.

Ahead of its first flights launching from London Stansted on March 30th, the leisure airline has confirmed the addition of new routes Antalya, Corfu, Dalaman and Split.

All are on sale now.

The announcement means that a total of 96 weekly flights will operate to 25 fantastic leisure destinations during summer 2017.

This growth is supported by the addition of an extra aircraft, meaning that Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate seven aircraft from London Stansted.

In total, including winter 17/18, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays now operates to a total of 27 destinations from its newest base.

Flights to each of the four new routes will operate twice weekly throughout the summer from July.

In total, the new routes and additional flights represent the addition of over 65,000 extra seats, taking the total number of seats on sale from London Stansted to over 875,000 - a capacity increase of eight per cent.

Boeing

At the same time, Boeing and the UK-based leisure airline have finalised an order for four Next Generation 737-800s, valued at $384 million at current list prices.

Jet2.com, an all-Boeing carrier, previously had 30 Next Generation 737-800s on order, eight have been delivered already in 2016.
