JAL announces changes to board

Japan Airlines today completed the corporate rehabilitation process with the strong support and assistance of its creditors, customers and all other related parties. At the same time, the following change to the executive lineup has been decided in an extraordinary meeting of stockholders and the board of directors held today.

Under the leadership of the appointed executives, employees of the JAL Group will strive in unity towards ensuring safety in all flight operations, providing the highest service quality to customers, and thereby raise its corporate value and contribute to the growth and development of society.

Tadao Sakai will retire on March 28, 2011 from the position of Executive Officer of Corporate Safety and Security.
