The presentation was made by World Travel Awards president Graham Cooke at the Qatar Tourism Authority stand in Hall 22B during the first day of the show.

Cooke said: “Qatar has consistently illustrated its meetings, incentives and conferencing and exhibitions credentials in recent years, and it is no surprise our voters have once again recognised the destination as the best in the world.

“It is a pleasure to present this trophy here today in front of global audience at what is the largest trade show anywhere on earth.

“Congratulations to all the members of the Qatar Tourism Authority and best of luck as we begin the search for the 2015 winners here at the World Travel Awards.”
