Heady Communications is delighted to announce that it is now handling the UK Public Relations for Capella Singapore, an ultra-luxury hotel on Sentosa Island.
The first Capella property in Asia, Capella Singapore has set a new benchmark for personalised service in a region already known for its outstanding service standards. Guests are invited to determine the experiences they desire, and the hotel then makes every effort to facilitate them. Personal assistants, a Capella hallmark, are well equipped to facilitate individual needs - from planning a culinary tour of Singapore specialties, to booking a corporate meeting, to arranging a romantic dinner, deep sea fishing or even a private jet.
Capella Singapore is situated just ten minutes from the city state’s bustling business and shopping district; however, once within the 30 acres of lush greenery, guests are instantly captivated by the serenity and discreet splendour of the resort. Once settled in, guests can explore the history of the majestic colonial buildings, appreciate the specially commissioned art pieces, or embark on a culinary journey at one of the dining venues, Cassia and The Knolls.
Guests are instantly enchanted by the sight of the two regal Tanah Merah colonial buildings that greet them as they sweep up the driveway. Integrating the colonial history of Tanah Merah with modern design, architect Lord Norman Foster spearheaded the restoration of the exquisite buildings, while adding a new, contemporary structure of grace and beauty.
The 112 rooms at Capella Singapore comprise two Colonial Manors, 38 villas, 11 suites and 61 premier guest rooms. Designed by acclaimed interior designer Jaya Ibrahim, founder of Jaya and Associates, the warm and inviting palettes of the rooms reflect the underlying influence of the tropical setting. Rattan and wood feature prominently in the rooms, which are spacious, comfortable and relaxing.
For a truly unique Capella Singapore experience, guests should consider staying in one of the Colonial Manors. Each measuring a spacious 434 square metres (4,672 sq ft), the skillfully-restored manors comprise three bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. These unique residences offer an authentic peek into the history of Singapore while providing all the modern amenities of a luxury hotel.
Nestled around the centrepiece of Tanah Merah are the Villas, each with a spacious living area and a view of the South China Sea. With an option of 133 square metres (1,432 sq ft) or 185 square metres (1,991 sq ft), with one or two bedrooms respectively, guests will find everything to suit their needs. Those travelling with their family will be pleased to find that each Villa has its personal plunge pool, hidden within lush foliage for utmost privacy.
Or, guests can opt for one of the four Constellation Rooms, each featuring its own private rooftop Jacuzzi for an indulgent treat. Even more spacious are the Sentosa Suites at 83 square metres (893 sq ft) and Capella Suites at 99 square metres (1,066 sq ft), targeted at the discerning traveller who values space and privacy.
All rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology including touch panels that control the lighting, air conditioning, drapes and LCD television. Wireless broadband connection and iPod docking stations are also available for the traveller on the go.
