InterRent opens 150th location in Sardinia, Italy

InterRent group director Jehan de Thé has led the growth of the brand

InterRent, the low-cost brand of Europcar Group, the European leader in vehicle rental services and a major mobility player, has announced the opening of its 150th station, at Sardinia’s Alghero Airport.

InterRent is currently present in 40 different countries, mainly in airports and tourism areas.

The opening of this 150th location demonstrates strong consumer demand for a smart, simple and user-friendly low-cost offering that allows customers to travel better and, above all, enjoy their vacations to the fullest.

Sardinia is a stunning island that combines rugged natural beauty with a rich cultural heritage.

Every road leads to a hilltop village, a beach with crystal-clear water or a golf course surrounded by olive groves and, more importantly, to encounters with Sardinians, who are invariably proud of their roots and culture.

InterRent targets leisure customers who are looking for fair pricing combined with a good customer service.

InterRent’s offering is centred on its simple, user-friendly website, where customers can make a reservation in three simple steps:

  • Date and location of the car rental.
  • Selection of the vehicle category and any extras.
  • Payment.

Every rental includes 24-hour roadside assistance as well as civil liability insurance covering theft and damages.

Customers can also select extras such as a child seat, GPS device or additional driver.

“We are delighted to be opening our 150th location, which is emblematic of InterRent’s strong growth as a brand in the dynamic low-cost market.

“Our offer appeals to a wide base of consumers who are looking for both fair prices and quality customer service.

“We will continue to develop InterRent’s international presence, through our in-country branches as well as our global franchisee network,” InterRent group director Jehan de Thé.
