Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services, a global provider of ground handling and port agency services to the ocean and river cruise industry, has extended its coverage of the North American region through an investment in TMS Gateway, the leading supplier of port agency and ground handling services to cruise ships on the US and Canadian West Coast. Intercruises can now provide services at all major ports in North America, including the west coast destinations of San Diego, Los Angeles, Seattle and Vancouver.
Like Intercruises, TMS Gateway offers cruise lines a ‘one stop shop’ for high quality cruise services, with port agency, full turnaround and shore excursions carried out by a single ground handler. The senior management from TMS Gateway will continue with the company, including Kelly Webber, TMS Gateway General Manager, who will report to Mark Robinson, Intercruises Managing Director.
“We endeavor to deliver a top quality service to our clients and by working with Intercruises our development can continue. Intercruises’ experience on a global scale will provide a different perspective to our operations and we can identify how their strengths can be integrated into our practices. We are a high quality service provider comprised of local teams and this will not change; however we can now complement the service we deliver with the resources of a worldwide business.”Said Kelly Webber, TMS Gateway General Manager.
“TMS Gateway is a highly successful organization with a company culture very similar to ours. The numerous synergies between our businesses mean we can develop best practice in delivering cruise ship services. Furthermore, I am delighted to be able to say that together with TMS Gateway, Intercruises can offer its services coast to coast in North America. ”Said Mark Robinson, Intercruises Managing Director.
