InterContinental reveals plans for Crowne Plaza Novi Sad


Novi Sad is among the most popular tourism destinations in Serbia

InterContinental Hotels Group has announced the signing of Crowne Plaza Novi Sad in Serbia’s second largest city.

The newly built hotel will operate under a franchise agreement with Plaza Agns Doo Novi Sad.

The 144-room hotel opening in 2016 will be located in the heart of the business district of Novi Sad, and only a short walk to the city centre for guests wanting to explore the city’s renowned 18th century architecture, visit the fortress of Petrovaradin, the plethora of beautiful churches or take a tour of the nearby vineyards and gastronomy sites.

The new development, along with Crowne Plaza Belgrade, aligns with IHG’s strategy to grow the brand in emerging business epicentres to truly make business travel work.

Crowne Plaza Novi Sad will feature a range of business and meeting facilities including five meeting rooms and two boardrooms. Guests will also be able to enjoy the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant and unwind at the sky bar which promises panoramic views of the city.

The property will also feature a signature rooftop club lounge, spa and fitness centre with world class facilities – the perfect place to unwind during a business trip or weekend getaway.
