InterContinental London Park Lane debuts ‘In the know’

25th Oct 2011

‘In the know’ is a glossy 12-page colour guide with a host of ‘insider’ tips to experience the capital, straight from the hotel’s expert teams. The seasonal guide forms part of InterContinental London Park Lane’s overall objective to provide guests with unparalleled access to local attractions, cultural events, and “insider” travel tips.

Ed Purnell, area director of marketing at InterContinental London Park Lane said, “We have a truly enviable location at the heart of London which allows us to share our insider knowledge with local Londoners and international visitors alike. It is as important for us to enrich our guests’ enjoyment of the city with lesser known enriching experiences, such as experiencing off-the-beaten-track shopping or a pint at a Christmassy pub, as it is to fulfil the traditional requests for the landmarks that make London such an internationally sought after destination year round.”

The winter launch issue of ‘In the know’ uncovers key ways to experience Christmas in the capital, including lesser known shopping hubs such as Marylebone High Street and routes for exploration using the hotel’s complimentary Boris Bike keys.  Additionally, there are some great suggestions for enjoying the hotel: Theo Randall’s hosted New Year’s Eve Party at his eponymous restaurant; the perfect potatoes recipe from Cookbook Cafe’s Executive Chef Paul Bates; The Arch Bar’s Stefano Filistad’s expert gin master classes and his Christmas Plum Duff cocktail recipe.
