In a time where unplugging from a technologically-driven world seems impossible and time is no longer a friend, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort invites guests on an adventure full of purpose, power, and personal renewal with a new wellness journey.
Set on the lush Son Tra Peninsula, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort is the perfect setting to achieve optimal health and mentally hit the refresh button.
The new mindful wellness programme can be taken over three, five or seven days and starts with a bespoke mixology workshop derived from the ancient ways of Chinese medicine, to discover one’s predominant element.
Treatments during the programme include the De-Stress Herbal Compress massage, designed to remove lactic acid deposits and reduce tension and stiffness and Body Cleanse Hammam with local black rice and charcoal, performed on a Danang marble bed - long regarded for its therapeutic properties.
Also included are yoga and meditation classes as well as time with Bastien Gonzalez, internationally famous for his unique approach to foot treatments, which finishes the journey with his signature Four Hand treatment.
The programme is partnered with a healthy, clean eating programme using the best of local Vietnamese ingredients; oysters from Nha Trang, shredded banana blossom with green mango, Vietnamese red crab with Kailand leaves and ruby snapper with mango salad, are just a few dishes to note.
The Spa Lagoon Villas provide the perfect retreat, tucked away on a secluded private lagoon and comes with an in-room spa sanctuary.
Each villa has a private outdoor Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, custom canopy stone bathtub and yoga terrace.
As part of Club InterContinental, guests also have access to a private lounge for breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktails, as well a private airport arrival and departure lounge, ensuring relaxation starts stepping off the plane.
InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort will welcome the elite of the regional hospitality industry in October when the destination hosts the World Travel Awards Asia & Australasia Gala Ceremony 2016.
