Industry leaders welcomed to Travel Tech Show at WTM 2014

Following the success of the Travel Tech Show at WTM last year, the Travel Tech Show at WTM 2014 will be an impressive 20 per cent bigger than last year’s inaugural event, seeing it retain its position as the largest dedicated travel technology event in the UK.

Anna Chomse, industry head at Google Travel and Andrew Jones, head of search account management at Yahoo! will both offer valuable knowledge to keep the industry up to date; delving into the right tactics to increase search engine optimisation.

The Search Engine Update Session will take place on Tuesday November 4th from 12:30-13:30 in WTM Platinum Suite 3 & 4 is one of six seminars for The Travel Tech Show which are being organised by Paul Richer, founding partner at travel technology consultancy Genesys.

The first day at WTM, which is by exhibitor invitation only, welcomes John Straw, chairman of Thomas Cook’s digital advisory board to the panel along with Fleur Hicks-Duarte, head of e-commerce at HolidayTaxis and Alec Dent, partnership manager at BlaBlaCar to the WTM Travel Innovation Summit in association with TTI.

The WTM Travel Innovation Summit, which takes place at 14:30-17:00, on the WTM Global Stage, will look at the newest technology that the industry is adopting and how delegates can ensure they offer the best customer service possible.

Other technology sessions taking place on Tuesday at WTM will look at mobile, big data, social media and the latest trends.
