Iceland’s capital to house brand new concert hall and conference centre

Reykjavik is set to become the next business hub when a new conference centre opens in the city in 2011.

Harpa, the new 28,000 square metre concert hall and conference centre, will feature four separate halls and will be located on Reykjavik’s harbour.

Just three hours away, Reykjavik is an ideal destination for business travel.

Iceland Express offers flights from just £89 one-way including taxes, allowing business travellers to get there quickly and cheaply.

Harpa is due to open in May 2011 and was designed by Henning Larsen Architects and prominent artist, Olafur Eliasson.
