Starting on June 1, British Airways will inaugurate a new route between London and San Diego, offering the only daily flight between Europe and Southern California’s leading vacation destination. Guests from across the pond are invited to check-in to the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina, unwind from the long flight and take advantage of great deals including:

  “Sunshine on Sale”—Guests are rewarded with a complimentary third night’s stay when they book two nights through the package.

  “San Diego Sea World Package”—Full breakfast for two in the hotel’s Red Marlin restaurant, two tickets to Sea World each day, complimentary self-parking and 2 p.m. late checkout, subject to availability.

Guests will find the hotel’s award-winning signature Red Marlin restaurant to be the epitome of California coastal chic with its warm, modern and gorgeous panoramic waterfront views. In June, diners will enjoy a true taste of the laid back San Diego lifestyle, while enjoying English-inspired selections.

The limited time menu items include a traditional English breakfast complete with Eggs, Roasted Tomatoes, Ham, Bacon, Fried Potatoes and Baked Beans, served with a selection of Twinning’s English Teas. For lunch, guests can enjoy the Ploughman’s Lunch Plate served with Aged Fiscalini Cheddar from California, Artisan Salamis and a Mixed Green Salad with Local Tomatoes. In addition, Red Marlin will offer Summer Berry Pudding, and Almond Cake layered with Fresh Picked Berries and Vanilla Whipped Cream for dessert, adding the perfect English touch!

For guests who might be inclined to enjoy a pint at their favorite local public house, the bar at the Red Marlin is well-stocked with an array of San Diego’s internationally acclaimed craft beers, served up with a smile by friendly and knowledgeable bartenders. And, to help guests kick back, the hotel will also feature European soccer on the flat screens in the Swim Bar & Lounge.
