launches its new iPad app

17th Feb 2012 launches its new iPad app, the free online hotel reservation service for more than 210,000 hotels worldwide, has unveiled an English language version of its popular iPad App, offering a host of great features for users.

As well as comparing hotels by price range or rating, users of the App will also be able to narrow their search to a particular vicinity – even down to hotels available around an address or landmark - especially useful for those travelling for business or leisure.

The App also gives users the option to take a virtual trip to the most frequently booked destinations via a global map, check out weather forecast information for their chosen destination and view the very latest travel advice from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Warini Munshi, International Business Development Director at commented: ‘The iPad App not only enables an online hotel reservation to be made in very few steps, but it also offers many innovative services and entertaining features including an interactive selection table and a ‘hotel duel.’ Using the App on a tablet in this way means that a hotel booking becomes a real experience.’

The App, originally launched in’s home market of Germany, has now been rolled out across Europe, with dedicated versions also available in Spanish, French and Italian.
