Dubai-based seafood fans have welcomed the opening of a new restaurant, Hook & Cook, which has just opened on the Pointe on Palm Jumeirah.

The Pointe is Dubai’s new waterfront destination offering unrivalled dining, entertainment and leisure.

Set at the tip of the world-famous Palm Jumeirah, across the bay from Atlantis the Palm, it is a scenic, relaxing arena with more than 80 restaurants, shops and attractions including dining, retail and entertainment outlets.

Its centrepiece is a spectacular fountain display which will enthral visitors with stunning shows that can be viewed from the Pointe’s wide range of waterfront dining spots.

Joining a raft of new restaurants at the dining and leisure hub, Hook & Cook promises a seasonally inspired daily menu.

Fresh seafood will be served in sophisticated, creative dishes featuring distinctly local flavours.

The menu at the new eatery features a wide range of options including fried shrimp, seabass cubano, fish tacos, hammour in butter curry, and fisherman’s pot pie.

There is also plenty of variety not pulled from the sea, with steak, Cajun chicken and beef sliders available for those who would prefer something a bit different, while an attractive dessert menu features coconut pie and tiramisu.

The Pointe brings a new energy to the entertainment and dining landscape of Dubai by providing visitors with limitless choices, vibrant experiences and charming views.
