Home2 Suites by Hilton, the award-winning mid-tier, all-suite hotel brand designed for modern business travelers and extended-stay guests, celebrated the opening of its eighth U.S. hotel with the new Jacksonville, N.C. property.

This is the brand’s second property in the state. The hotel joins seven other Home2 Suites already open in Fayetteville, N.C., Layton, Utah, Baltimore, Md., San Antonio, Texas, West Valley City, Utah, North Charleston, N.C., and Lexington Park, Md. The first two guests to check-in today received gift baskets featuring local items, courtesy of Onslow County Tourism and Hope for Warriors.

The four-story, 105-suite hotel is located at 139 Circuit Lane, Jacksonville, N.C., near North Carolina’s Camp Lejeune and New River MCAS. The property, built by Onslow Hospitality, Inc., a subsidiary of CN Hotels based out of Greensboro, N.C., and managed by LBA Hospitality, includes 39 queen studio suites, 59 king studio suites and seven one-bedroom queen suites. 

Neighboring local attractions include Hammocks Beach State Park, with the property located only a short drive away from the beaches of Topsail Island, Emerald Isle and Surf City.

The Jacksonville property features an indoor saline swimming pool and a scenic walking trail that winds around the property. The hotel also offers easy access to technology and bright, inviting community spaces, as well as the trademark Home2 Suites amenities standard in all properties, such as the Oasis lobby area, the in-room working wall and “Inspired Table” complimentary breakfast.

Home2 Suites by Hilton currently operates seven hotels and has nearly 70 properties in its development pipeline. CN Hotels is also developing another Home2 Suites in Charlotte, NC. The brand current has 11 properties under active construction in Biloxi, Miss.; Nashville, Tenn.; Frisco, Texas; Charlotte, N.C.; Oxford, Ala.; Huntsville, Ala.; Jackson/Ridgeland, Miss.; Philadelphia, Pa.; Rahway, N.J.; Baltimore, Md.; and Columbus, Georgia.  Future properties are slated for many of the nation’s major markets, including Houston, Atlanta, Washington, D.C. and Denver.  Home2 Suites also is approved for expansion into Canada and Mexico.
