Holiday Extras’ online training becomes ATP accredited

Holiday Extras’ online training tutorials have been recognised by the Accredited Travel Professional Scheme (ATP); a programme that identifies individuals’ success within the travel sector.

Agents who want to further their expertise can now take part in Holiday Extras’ training tutorial and obtain five ATP points to add towards their Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

The scheme, which was developed by ABTA, ITT and People 1st, acknowledges people who have achieved high levels of customer service, and those who have gained a wealth of product knowledge during their time working in the industry.

Andrea Clayton, Head of Insurance and Travel Trade Partnerships at Holiday Extras, said: “We’re delighted that our training has been accredited by this industry-recognised scheme.

“Holiday Extras’ online training allows agents to gain extensive knowledge of our products, which will help them to sell more effectively and earn extra commission. Many agents have already found our online tutorial to be a valuable tool, and we hope that this will encourage others to get involved.”
