Hilton Worldwide to introduce two new brands to France in Val d’Europe

Hilton Worldwide announced plans to introduce two new brands to the French market with the dual-branded Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton Val d’Europe on the doorstep of Disneyland Paris. The opening of what will become the company’s first dual-branded property in France, and the first dual-branded Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton for Europe, is scheduled for 2015. Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president of development, Europe & Africa, Hilton Worldwide, said, “Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton are both exceptional award-winning brands which are gaining great momentum in Europe.  To be introducing both brands to France at the same time and close to a world class tourist destination is extremely exciting.”

Val d’Europe, developed in conjunction with Euro Disney Associés S.C.A., features a major business park where the hotels will be located.  The park itself benefits from being on the A4 autoroute linking the cities of Paris and Strasbourg.

Ease of accessibility is also guaranteed by the high-speed TGV and Eurostar rail services from Marne-la-Vallée - Chessy, located at the entrance to the theme park, with Eurostar operating a direct service from London.  Paris’ two international airports, Charles de Gaulle and Orly, are both approximately 45 kilometres from the property.

Phil Cordell, global head, focused service brands, Hilton Worldwide, said, “I am delighted to welcome this landmark first for the Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton brands operating alongside each other in a perfect fit at Val d’Europe.  Both hotels are ideally placed to cater to the diverse needs of visitors to the area, notably the ever-increasing number of business travellers Val d’Europe hosts.  This marks another milestone in our successful European and global expansion plans.”

Once completed, the construction of the two hotels will occupy 22,200 square meters and provide a total of 250 guestrooms, with access to 190 parking spaces across the two properties.  Both hotels will provide 24-hour fitness facilities.

Hilton Garden Inn Val d’Europe will boast 154 guestrooms, with all day dining and bar facilities as well as on-site fitness complex.  The brand’s signature 24 hour Pavilion Pantry will also offer guests light snacks and refreshments throughout the day and night.  The hotel’s contemporary, upscale design will provide key Hilton Garden Inn brand features such as complimentary wi-fi access, the Garden Sleep System bed, ergonomic chair, as well as 24-hour business centre with remote printing capabilities.

Hampton by Hilton Val d’Europe will offer 96 guestrooms to the more value-conscious traveler along with all of the brand’s signature offerings that travellers have come to expect from the award winning brand, including free high-speed internet access throughout, free hot breakfast, 24-hour snack area featuring light dishes, as well as Hampton by Hilton’s 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Eric Collin, executive vice president, Finergy Développement Europe SAS, said, “As a real estate development company we are excited by this new partnership with global hospitality leader Hilton Worldwide to open the first Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton hotels to France.  This multi-brand approach means these hotels will cater to a wide variety of visitors to the area and we look forward to welcoming the first guests to the property.”

Francis Borezée, Vice President Resort and Real Estate Development, Euro Disney said, “This new hotel offer perfectly completes the array of services already accessible on the Val d’Europe Business Park, thus contributing to a dynamic work environment.  Hilton Worldwide, like Euro Disney, is a global leader and we look forward to these two hotels opening.”

Guests staying at both hotels can participate in Hilton HHonors®, the only guest rewards program that allows members to earn both Points & Miles® for the same stay and redeem points for free nights with No Blackout Dates at more than 3,900 hotels worldwide.

In the past 12 months Hilton Worldwide has opened three dual-branded hotels in Europe including Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn Frankfurt Airport, Germany;  Hilton and Hampton by Hilton at St. George’s Park, Burton upon Trent, UK;  and Hilton Bursa Convention Center & Spa and Hampton by Hilton Bursa, Turkey.
