Hilton Worldwide, the world’s largest hospitality company, has announced a sponsorship deal with young UK golfer Tyrrell Hatton.
During his rookie year on the European Tour in 2014, Tyrrell produced one of the best ever debut seasons earning €850,000 in prize money with five top ten finishes.
Most notably he challenged at the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai where he finished in a very impressive sixth place.
The agreement will see the Hilton logo featured on both Hatton’s cap and golf bag during the 2015 season at all European Tour events.
Personal appearances and social media campaigns will link to the extensive Hilton Worldwide golf offering including hotels, hospitality and Hilton HHonors customer loyalty rewards.
The sponsorship of Tyrell Hatton complements the recent three-year global supplier agreement signed with the European Tour.
The initial arrangement will see Hilton host Tour staff in its many properties that have proximity to events taking place across the world, particularly in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
It will see also Hilton advertising on the European Tour’s various channels, including europeantour.com.
British-born Tyrrell, 23, turned professional in 2011 and competed on the EuroPro Tour and Jamega Tour where he recorded four wins within 12 months.
This led to invitations to play the Challenge Tour in 2012 where he secured his card for 2013.
Finishing tenth on the Challenge Tour in 2013 he graduated to the European Tour for the 2014 season.

Hilton Worldwide’s association with golf also extends to its Travel With Purpose corporate responsibility strategy.
The US-based Hilton HHonors Charitable Golf Series, now in its eighth year, which has raised $1.53m for charities across the USA.
