Hilton Hotels & Resorts Races Through China

Hilton Hotels & Resorts continues to bring its “Stay Hilton Go Everywhere” story to more Chinese cities by joining force with reality competition series, The Amazing Race: China Rush Season II.

The Amazing Race: China Rush is a local version of the world famous series The Amazing Race produced by Shanghai Media Group and in association with Disney-ABC International Television Asia Pacific. Built upon the success enjoyed by the 12-episode reality show in 2010, the show is now in its second season featuring an exclusive hotel partnership with Hilton Hotels & Resorts, the flagship brand of Hilton Worldwide.

The iconic hotel brand, which has more than 20 years of experience in China, is leveraging the program’s travel theme to showcase its rapid expansion of city hotels and beach resorts across China. The Amazing Race: China Rush Season II began airing on Dragon TV and ICS August 7. Fans of the show will also be able to join in the viewers contest to win a stay in one of the eight Hilton Hotels & Resorts properties currently operating within China.

“This collaboration of TV sponsorship and content integration in China represents our increasing focus on remaining a relevant, leading brand within the local market,” Dave Horton, global head, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, said. “The unique format of participants racing across the world is the perfect fit for our ‘Stay Hilton, Go Everywhere’ campaign. This series provides us a unique opportunity to showcase the myriad of Hilton destinations and experiences within China and reinforces our position as the ultimate choice for the world’s leisure travelers.”

In this season’s race across China, contestants will be faced with Hilton-specific challenges where they find themselves subjected to the same demanding hospitality standards the brand maintains as a stylish, forward-thinking global industry leader.  Racers who check in first at selected pit stops will also walk away with holiday stays at a Hilton hotel or resort.
