The recently opened Hilton Dalaman Resort & Spa, located on Turkey’s beautiful, unspoilt Dalaman coast, has been nominated for the prestigious 17th Annual World Travel Awards in three separate categories: Turkey’s Leading Beach Resort, Turkey’s Leading Hotel and Turkey’s Leading Resort.

According to the Wall Street Journal the World Travel Awards are the “Travel industry’s equivalent to the Oscars”, being the most comprehensive and high-profile awards in the global travel industry. The Awards seek to separate the good from the outstanding, to identify companies that consistently excel and to take customer expectations to unparalleled highs.

The results of the European arm of the 2010 World Travel Awards will be announced at the Europe Gala Ceremony on 1 October in Turkey at the Rixos Premium in Belek, Antalya.
