Hilton Baku Appoints Executive Management Team

The newly assembled senior management team combines an effective mix of internationally experienced hospitality professionals from within Hilton Worldwide and established local talent, providing deep understanding of the Azerbaijani market and Baku hospitality sector.

Landmark appointments announced today include Azerbaijani nationals Eldar Alimuradov as director of sales & marketing and Nigar Rahimova as director of human resources.

Mr. Alimuradov has over 10 years experience in Baku based hospitality, joining Hilton Baku from the Hyatt Hotels Baku, and will be the main contact for business and commercial issues. Ms. Rahimova joins from the Holiday Inn Baku Airport where she had been working in human resource training and development since 2007, bringing strategic insight to the Azeri labor market.

Combining this local expertise with Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand values, the key position of director of operations with be filled by Tolga Aytan. A Turkish national, having previously held this position at Hilton Adana in Turkey, Mr. Aytan has built a 13 year career with Hilton and will be a key voice in ensuring the company’s world class standards are upheld and excelled upon.

Eldar Alimuradov, newly appointed director of sales & marketing, Hilton Baku, said, “To be working for such an internationally respected company at such a high profile property is quite remarkable. Additionally announced appointments include:

Roman Tanriverdiyev as front office manager. An Azeri national with a 12 year career in hotels, Mr. Tanriverdiyev brings the international brand experience of Hyatt with local knowledge of the Baku market.

Sabina Shahin as executive housekeeper & laundry manager. Ms. Shahin started her career at the Hyatt Baku in 1995, where she held the position of housekeeping assistant manager. She expanded her career at the Landmark hotel in the capacity of Housekeeping & Laundry manager.

Nadir Teymurov as I.T. manager. Having graduated from Azerbaijan State Economics University, Mr. Teymurov is a certified Microsoft professional, with five years of experience in the IT world setting up corporate I.T. infrastructures.
