Hilditch takes up corporate sales role with British Airways

One of British Airways’ top North American sales leaders is to take on a major new role in UK to help drive the airline’s corporate sales.

Marie Hilditch will be leaving New York to make London her new home as British Airways’ new head of corporate sales from July.

Born and raised in New York City, Marie joined British Airways in 1984 and went on to work in a number of senior sales roles in corporate and regional teams throughout the US, including Chicago and Pittsburgh, and most recently in New York.

In her current role as British Airways’ vice president trade sales, North America, working for Simon Brooks, British Airways’ senior vice president sales, North America, she was pivotal in the successful implementation of joint selling with American Airlines, and following the extension of the joint business, US Airways.

Richard Tams, British Airways’ head of UK&I sales and marketing, said: “Given Marie’s wealth of experience of working with trade and corporate clients, we’re delighted she will be our new head of corporate sales in the UK & Ireland.

“I’m sure she will bring the energy that she has demonstrated in North America to her new position and join a brilliant team of people who are dedicated to driving business for the airline.”
