Hidden Pousadas Brazil recognised ahead of FIFA 2014 World Cup

Hidden Pousadas Brazil, the leading representation for pousada accommodation in Brazil has been awarded the official seal of approval by the national ministry of sport ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The company’s latest promotional campaign – ‘Brazil, a hidden paradise yet to be discovered’ - is the only British tourism project chosen to support Brazilian government promotion plans for the FIFA World Cup 2014.

The aim of the project is to highlight the wonderful natural beauty of pousadas and off the beaten track destinations in areas surrounding the World Cup cities.

In attracting more independent travellers to Brazil the project aligns perfectly with the Brazilian government’s aim to double the number of foreign visitors to the country over the next five years.

Since 2008 Hidden Pousadas Brazil has been dedicated to attracting tourists from around the world to stay in pousadas, the uniquely beautiful handpicked B&Bs, inns, eco-lodges and boutique hotels, which it represents across Brazil.

Founder and director, Alison McGowan said: “We are immensely honoured to be the only British company to receive official approval from the Brazilian government for our project, along with the right to promote our recommended pousadas within the Brazilian promotion plans for Copa do Mundo FIFA 2014.”
